Job Title: (Senior) System Hardware Engineer

Department: Video R&D

Location: Shanghai

Descriptions:

The position will be utilized in Shanghai Video System R&D team to design, build hardware evaluation platform or reference design platforms in system level. That includes design schematics and PCB layout, debug interface, test performance, trouble-shooting, rework, and repair. The position will participate in design review, prototyping projects, component research, set up test equipment, system integration and support customer for consumer electronics applications

Qualifications:

- BSEE+5 /MSEE + 3 years of applicable experience in field of system hardware.

- Degree in Electronics Engineering, or other related disciplines.

- Work experience on DTV, Blu-ray disc players, digital set-top box or digital media player is preferred.

- Experienced in high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuit design and troubleshooting are must.

- Knowledge of DDR, SATA, HDMI, PCI-E, USB, SDIO, NAND, IIC, UART, SPI, ADC/DAC power regulators, and power management are must.

- Experience in customer support.

- EMI/ ESD management & reduction experience.

- Be able using EDA tools for schematics (OrCAD) and PCB (PADS, Allegro) design and review.

- Good understanding of the full design cycle and manufacturing requirements of the end products is preferred.

- Working knowledge in design verification and performance evaluation using lab equipments.

- Knowledge of ARM processors and embedded software is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

- Self-starter and organized.

- Good verbal and written communication in English.

- Be curious and eager to find the best solutions to complex challenges.

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to ever changing technical challenges.

- Good in teamwork.
