职位描述

Chief Executive Officer Roles & Responsibilities

1. Build a clear strategy, technology and product road map for the coming [2-4] years
2. Develop a state-of-the art technical team which is capable to continuously innovate, ahead of the “curve”; team could be based in Silicon Valley
3. Top line revenue growth focusing on managing, developing and selling new large industry customers.
4. Build and develop a corporate culture with a high sense of urgency and quality, on-time delivery
5. Build an operational structure that can scale
6. Provide financial and risk management leadership
7. Work with the technical team and the Board to develop a strategy to grow the company and continuously innovate to be the leader in the UV LED space.
8. Liaise with the Board on a frequent basis


Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Top line revenue growth

· Lead revenue growth to the next milestone of landing new significant white goods customers.
· Take overall management responsibility for all aspects of sales, marketing strategy, marketing communications, product marketing and promotions for products.
· Position the Company strategically and structurally to be attractive to partners and as a potential acquisition.
· Make appropriate and cost effective hires to lead sales and channel partners organizations, as well as the finance function.

2. Provide Leadership and Build Corporate Culture

· Develop and present a strategy roadmap to the Board of Directors for approval.
· Provide executive leadership and deliver on targets defined in the corporate strategy and business plans. Support, challenge and mentor leaders to help them achieve their targets.
· Steer the development and implementation of the business plan into clearly defined marketing and sales strategies and an organization structure to support the plan.
· Maintain a highly effective and collaborative working environment. Assess, structure, and build a lean, competent and motivated management team and ensure each is held fully accountable to meet performance requirements.
· Assess talent of existing personnel and identify the gaps, and recruit, train and mentor.

3. Build an Operational Structure that can Scale

· Establish and maintain internal processes, procedures and set a high standard of performance throughout the company. Provide long term vision and structural planning to guide the company through a period of rapid growth.
· Maintain high quality channels of communications for the delivery of products to customers.
· Implement strategies and structures to recruit and retain highly productive employees.
· Implement strategies and processes that maintain a high level of morale and energy through phases of rapid growth.
· Ensure that the company is performing efficiently from an operations perspective; clients are being serviced, and processes are scalable.

4. Provide Financial and Risk Management Leadership

· Ensure that the Company has sufficient financial resources to execute its business plan
· Ensure the planning and management of the operating budget is within the means of the company.
· Full disclosure and reporting to the BOD as required
· Over sight of all compliance and regulatory issues relating to business conducted by the company
· Development of a culture that adheres to regulatory compliance and statutory obligations
· Ensure that the vision, strategy and operational structure is aligned to enhance shareholder value

Requirements:

· Experience as a CEO or on the executive team of a technology company, Specific experience required in product development and sales & marketing
· Experience in closing significant customer deals sold into the consumer markets, which should include China
· Experience with both direct and indirect sales channels
· In a leadership role of a venture-backed company that has gone through a period of rapid growth.
· A track record of mentoring, managing and building teams.
· English and Mandarin language required.
· Experience in developing and selling a new product for niche segments.
· Have a deep understanding of operating in a small, fast paced, entrepreneurial company and understand what it is like to do “more with less”.
· Has represented the company in developing relationships with stakeholders including shareholders, customers, suppliers, partners, employees, industry community and others.
· Experience on the executive management team that has successfully raised funds preferably with direct responsibility for pitching to the investment community.
· Exceptional integrity, ethics and credibility with an authentic and persuasive communication style
