Department Description




You will be part of a strong team to ensure that Oracle's products are of the highest quality for our customer base. Be part of the product development team and participate in the enterprise application server software engineering. You will be responsible for product quality and have opportunities to work with technical leads and innovators in Java technologies.


You will apply your Java EE knowledge and programming experience to evaluate quality of Oracle Fusion Middleware products. Major responsibilities for this position include reviewing product functional specs and design specs, developing product testing specs, implementing automated white-box test cases and analyzing quality of multiple products. The programs would be in Java and Script languages. Additional responsibilities include development of project testing plans, analyzing risk trade-offs to programs and QA process improvement. Reviewing product user document is also key responsibility as well as providing timely testing reports to management.

Qualifications/Necessary Skills
- Solid experience of Java programming in industry with ability to write elegant and clean code. 4+ years experience of product development in Java EE technologies
- Extensive knowledge in Java EE specs
- Strong shell script programming skills, familiar with Apache Ant and JUnit
- Skills of UNIX and/or Windows development and debugging
- Experience with product problems troubleshooting
- Must have excellent communication and writing skills in English


Desirable:
- Strong Object Oriented product design and development concepts
- Experience with Enterprise Level Applications, network and multi-threaded programming
- Experience with development of automation testing tools
- Strong desire to innovate, strong sense of software quality assurance
- Familiar with HTML, HTTP, HTTPS, JSP and Java Security
- Knows Perl/Python/Shell programming
- Experience of WebLogic Server or other application servers


Educational Requirements:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields
