Position and Responsibilities

Senior Network Specialist will
need to ensure the smooth operation of the organizations data and voice network
in order to provide maximum performance and availability for the system users.
He will also be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and
supporting various LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures at all branches.

·
Primarily the employee in this
position will be responsible for all the networking tasks for the
organization globally.

·
Designing and implementing
networks, network routing, switches, and
internet-related networking and security technologies.

·
Architecting, Design and
implementing network solutions for our office networks and assist with client
connectivity to our facilities.

·
Remotely configure and maintain
network equipment such as Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Wireless controllers

·
Design and implement
security-related improvements/ enhancements to customer and internal networks
and work with network and systems engineers in implementing security
infrastructure components.




Technical Skills and Experience



· Excellent English communication ability, both speaking and writing.




·
Strong working experience with
Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Routers, WLAN, Switches and various Load balancer
technologies.

·
Strong hands-on routing
knowledge of network/internet protocols/services such as MPLS, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP,
BGP, DNS, IPSec, PAT and NAT.

·
Experience with Network documentation
and monitoring tools

·
Experience with setup and
implementation of Cisco IP Telephony solution

·
Excellent knowledge of
electronic data transmission principles, LAN networks, routing fundamentals,
business applications, DMZ design and troubleshooting techniques is essential.

·
Must have Excellent
Troubleshooting and Communication Skills.

·
Must have the ability to work
in a fast paced dynamic and growing IT environment and the flexibility to work
with a wide range of technologies.

·
Experience in Cisco ASA
firewalls, Extreme network switches, Aruba Wireless networks would be an added
advantage.

·
Cisco networking certifications
- CCNA/CCNP would be an added advantage.
