Responsibilities
? Understand business requirements/processes and visualize optimal solutions.
? Design, develop and implement automated tools and test architectural framework for product validation
? Design, develop, and troubleshoot software applications.
? Carry out analysis and conceptual design of proposed projects.
? Participates in determining feasibility of proposed projects and the overall plan for implementation.
? Operates as Subject Matter Expert and/or owner of multiple software modules.
? Acts as technical lead to direct requirements analysis, and writing of engineering requirement(s) and design specifications for projects of moderate to complex scope.
? Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise and other departments on technical matters.
? Evaluates technologies, including Open Source, to meet project needs
? Recommends and executes continuous quality improvement in meeting internal and external customer requirements.

Qualifications
? Experience with Web Servers (IIS, Apache)
? Expertise in one or more relevant programming languages (e.g. C++, C#), operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and OS concepts.
? Expertise in software engineering process.
? Expertise with more advanced programming environments and concepts (e.g. OS internals, Multi-Threading, Networking)
? Strong knowledge of database (SQL Server is preferred).
? Strong Knowledge of automation testing and frameworks
? Good working knowledge of security concepts
? Good knowledge of Windows/Unix Networking concepts
? Knowledge of Web technologies (HTML5, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, ASP.NET)
? Knowledge of Agile development process.
? Knowledge of PowerShell, PHP and Python is a plus
? Strong written and verbal communication
? Ability to lead/mentor team of engineers
? Ability to multi-task & learn quickly
? Experience mentoring/leading an engineering team through a technical project.
? Strong experience in at least one major OS (e.g. Windows, Linux)
