Customer Supply Chain Organization aims to create a service and supply chain experience for our customers that is a competitive advantage for Freescale. The Customer Supply Chain Specialist:
► Drives forecast accuracy, forecast collaboration and influences Sales Demand Signals
► Owns supply escalations, resolution and communication
► Addresses customer scorecards and metrics
► Improves order coverage to RFP and order entry to leadtime
► Ensures compliance to SOP, PA, SOX, customer audits
► Understands and recommends service options based on customer/FSL strategy
► Achieves Service Program performance ( JIT, VMI Consignment/3PL etc and compliance working with Order
Management team
► Influences the Customer Loyalty rating
► Establishes a rich understanding of customers’ values, needs and motivations; how they are influenced; and how
they impact sourcing decisions
► Develops and owns service strategy for their customer
► Understands competitive service strategies and utilizes competitive intelligence in developing future FSL service
offerings and contributes to business case analysis with Supply Chain Services
► Represent FSL Supply Chain Operations in Customer meetings and internal meetings
► Monitors service program performance and recommends new service offerings or tailored services that increase
value with the customer
► Utilize collaborative forecasting process to drive forecast accuracy improvements
► Ensure FSL NPI timelines and sample requirements are accurately reflected in SDS and captured in production
planning
► Encourage, model and maintain productive working relationships with customers, peers and internal teams
► Understand overall manufacturing strategy, supply bottlenecks and their impact on customers
► Leads service and supply sessions with customers (CFT or QBR, or other regular deamnd/ sypply review sessions)
► Own service and supply section of customer audits and compliance
► Communication of exceptions of billings, delinquencies and mismatches to business units
► Compliance to contracts or regulations and ability to influence contract performance
Qualifications
: Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices and marketplace experience to drive service strategies
Lean/Six Sigma
Strong data analysis and presentation skills
Require BS/BA with a minimum of 8+ years experience in related field (or Int'l equivalent / Work Experience). Prefer
Business, Supply Chain Management or Logistics Degrees.
Participate in continuing education (ex: APICS, Lean)
