General Summary:
The Senior Marketing Manager for Asia Pacific (AP) uses in-depth knowledge of the AP mobile and technology markets to support in-region product marketing activities. The incumbent provides counsel on collaborative solution strategy development and market trends assessment and support in-region business growth objectives.
? Provide accurate analytical research support with regards to Syniverse product placement and market penetration in AP to assist in developing sales plans
? Supports the go-to-market efforts in Asia Pacific market
? Supports content to propel our thought leadership to differentiate Syniverse’s products and solutions in the AP market
? Leads an effort to analyze Syniverse’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) in an effort to aid in increasing market share, thwarting competitive threats, identifying and capturing new market opportunities for AP region.
? Uses in-depth knowledge across all products/services and markets to develop and implement all LOB product launches for the AP region.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
? Drive assessments and quantification of global growth opportunities and market size within the marketplace through identification of market potential for new product/services for new and existing customers in AP region. Support the Syniverse Strategic Plan through development of comprehensive competitor, regional, and corporate SWOT analysis and competitive matrices.
? Serves as the Marketing & Strategy single point of contact for regional Sales Teams, Sales Engineering, Business Development and Product Management regarding the development and project management of New Product/Solutions Launch market plans, development of Go To Market strategy and implementation including GTM guides, sales presentation support for products/services, market assessments and addressable market validation.
? Establishes industry benchmarking to anticipate market risks to Syniverse’s market position and works with Product Management to develop and execute mitigation strategies and plans
? Maintains relationships with Sales teams, Sales Engineering, Business Development and Product Management in an effort to continue building awareness of customer needs and directions and validating that information in an effort to grow revenue and increase market share through development of global sales strategies and market support plans in support of corporate objectives.
? Drive Business Intelligence efforts in AP to collect, analyze and report global market share, providing communications to field articulating competitive and competitor strategic movements, directions, product assessments and new directional strategic changes.
? Supports content development to propel our thought leadership in the marketplace and determines subject and presentation content for Asia Pacific Events.
