Position: Senior Manager (Consumer Practice)

Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities:

· Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
· Consistently produce high quality communications content for clients
· Lead research, planning and development of comprehensive public relations campaigns

· Help plan and coordinate traditional and social media outreach programs
· Help pull together cross-practice and cross-geographical teams to provide clients and prospects with the most compelling team and proposal
· Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals
· Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values (Quality, Integrity, Respect, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Mutual Benefits) and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Qualification:

· At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing, preferably with Multinational Companies.

· Proven ability to lead and manage large projects as well as teams on multiple sizable accounts simultaneously

· S/he will be familiar with best-practice communications tactics and public relations tools and will be able to appropriately recommend them to executive-level clients and lead the execution of all related projects in house

· Good research, writing and editing skills (both English and Chinese), as well as the ability to interact with clients professionally and maintain relationships with media members.

. Good management skills to lead a team of members.

· A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is highly preferred.
