Position Summary:
Develop a deep understanding of all One Lambda (Transplant Diagnostics) products to support the Sales activities and initiatives for achieving annual revenue targets and departmental goals. This includes travel to customer sites to support demonstration and promotional activities, product training, and post sales follow-up as needed to support business. Manage the creation, development and execution of China technical product training of customers, distributors, and Thermo Fisher personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
? Provide technical support (reagents, software, and equipment).
? Travel to customers and distributors in China.
? Support the sales and marketing effort through exceptional and efficient product support and promotion, timely customer service.
? Become an expert on transplant diagnostics, HLA products.
? Ensure technical training is aligned with business.
? Ensure that laboratory protocols and procedures are properly and safely followed for quality assurance and maintain the quality of all the products involved.
? This position will keep confidential all laboratory and business data.
? In addition he/she will ensure that safe laboratory procedures and protocols are followed at all times especially in the application of universal precautions in handling of all blood and blood byproducts.
? Participate in planning activities, product forecasting, and the development of departmental strategic plans.
? Maintain an advanced working knowledge or current and new products to the level required to teach and train both internal and external customers.
? Maintain a professional corporate image to accounts and potential customers.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
? A Bachelors degree from an accredited higher learning institution in the Biological or Chemical Sciences and at least five (5) years of experience in an HLA Laboratory or related HLA experience.
? Ability to perform demonstrations on all Thermo Fisher equipment related to job requirements.
? A working clinical knowledge of Thermo Fisher products and HLA-related fields.
? The ability to demonstrate these products to groups of potential customers at hospitals and laboratories.
? Organize and conduct technical workshops with customers.
? Answer technical questions related to the performance of Thermo Fisher products.
? Multi-task responsibilities/activities, problem solve and meet deadlines.
? Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing to management, customers, third party personnel.
? Obtain and report market feedback.
? Work in a team setting in a cooperative and helpful manner.
? Knowledge of Microsoft Office products for word processing, sales analysis, and the creation of presentations.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
This position will operate a computer terminal on a daily basis. Occasional lifting of office and/or laboratory equipment up to 50 lbs. Travel frequently across all of China.
