职位描述
Position: Director (Corporate Practice)
Location: Shanghai
The Role:
We are looking to appoint a Director to the Corporate practice. The individual will become a key member of the practice’s senior team, who will, in addition to providing strategic direction on key accounts, make a significant contribution to the running and growth of the practice.
It’s preferred that the candidate is established in a career as a corporate reputation advisor with a broad range of big brand experience and a track record of proactive campaign delivery. They should be expert or conversant in all areas of corporate reputation management, including stakeholder engagement, executive profiling, corporate brand positioning, crisis and issues management, etc.
The individual must also have a proven track record in managing and developing teams, and leading the pursuit of new business (from lead-generation through to pitch and follow up).
Responsibilities include:
-Oversee client relationships, ensuring best practice in client handling
-Counsel clients confidently on corporate responsibility issues
-Oversee the creation and implementation of innovative client programs
-Create and execute client development plans
-Full responsibility for overall financial management on accounts – forecasting, hours allocation for team members, project & plan budgeting, managing servicing levels
-Supporting business development activities including developing proposals and pitches and presenting these to clients
-Supporting marketing by developing new intellectual property, presentations, thought pieces etc.
-Identifying potential leads and areas of growth within existing clients as well as broader opportunities to develop revenue
Key Requirements:
-Clear understanding of the importance of trust and reputation for driving organizational success
-Familiarity and experience with all aspects of corporate reputation programs including appropriate use of communication and engagement channels and media, particularly digital media
-Experience of managing large-scale projects including those that involve crisis or ‘difficult’ messages such as lay-offs, transformations etc.
-Able to interact and build confidence with senior business leaders within Edelman and our clients
-Good understanding of research and measurement techniques
-Highly adaptable and able to work across a number of clients and projects, managing them all confidently and with a high level of competence
-Excellent verbal communications skills and solid negotiation skills with ability to manage client expectations against budget / results
-Excellent planning, organizational and program management skills, particularly relating to the development and ongoing management of employee engagement programs
-Professional communication experiences in pharmaceutical industry would be a big plus
-Ability to think creatively and ensure good level of creative output across the team
-Language ability: fluent in both speaking and written English.
