JOB STATEMENT
Provides technical and customer support in relation to Metso spares and wear parts in cooperation with Customers, Customer Service Representative, Area Sales Managers and Field Service for Parts sales promotion purpose.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Parts Sales Support
Provide technical support to customers, Customer Service Representative, Area Sales Managers and Service personnel in respect of spares and wear parts.
Respond to direct telephone and written customer enquiries for product or technology.
Visit customers regularly to inspect and audit machines, check site inventory level to recommend and propose parts purchase and stock.
Joint customer visit with Customer Service Rep. to promote parts sales
Site service for fix and maintenance to find parts sales opportunity.
Initiate and design service marketing active to promote parts sales relating fixing, maintenance, annual overhaul, contract of service or production, modification, optimizing, audit, upgrade, training, second hand sales, repair and so on.
Help customers or Customer Service Rep. ascertain machine, part and reference numbers by reading catalogue or parts manual to determine part needed
Warranty check and assessment
Collect parts market price information and propose List Price.
Assist for getting the technical data for new item application
Advise customers and Customer Service Rep. on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available.
Create and maintain good customer relationship
Tasks assigned by Supervisor, Technical Support
Administration
Liaise with customers, Customer Service Rep. Accounting and Sales Managers in respect of warranty and credit notes.
Produce routine reports of Technical Support and enquiries to the Supervisor and management team..
RELATIONSHIPS
Reports directly to Supervisor, Technical Support, CSR Parts and reports in dotted line to Supervisor, Customer Service Rep., CSR Parts
Directly deal with customers.
Work closely with Customer Service Representative
Work closely with Sales Managers, Sales Support and Service team.
AUTHORITY
To organise and prioritize own workload to meet set deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
At least 2-3 years of experience in a customer service industry and related experience and/or training.
Desirable
Technology certificate from college or technical school;
Experience working in the Service, Technical support team in mining or similar industry.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent customer relation skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, parts manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Excellent telephone manners.
Proficient in the use of MS Office, databases, spreadsheets and e-mail, preferably Lotus Notes.
Sound problems solving and analytical skills.
Good negotiation skills
Good communication skills – Chinese and written English.
Good interpersonal skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position is based in an out office environment. The incumbent will be required to take 80% travel on visiting customers at mine and quarries sites, where defined safety hazards exist.
