Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be accountable for implementing and managing the Engineering Project Management Process to execute all physical improvement efforts within Albian Sands.
Ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with both local and global standards.
Manage HSSE performance for construction activities in support of small and mid sized projects.
Validate asset requirements and expectations are being fulfilled.
Demonstrated evidence of Enterprise first values and behaviors will be taken into account during the selection process.
Communicate effectively with management,external bodies,and all level of employees within direct organization.
Work through others to achieve results while mentoring and developing staff competence.
Identify and implement effective courses of action to complete work and ensure achievement of departmental goals.
Exercise independent judgement and initiative within established guidelines.
Manage projects and processes effectively.
Demonstrated strong HSE performance management.
Ability to read and interpret plans,specifications and manuals.
Knowledge of Construction and Production Operations.
Proven leadership ability.
Significant contract management skills, and the ability to act as a focal point for several construction contractors.

Requirements:

Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Requires a minimum of 5 -10 years construction experience within industry.
Demonstrated knowledge and competence of project management and execution.
Ability to accomplish goals, which require resources outside span of control.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities to build ownership toward the asset and maximize overall results delivery.
