Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada

Responsibilities:

· Reporting to Planning Coordinator,Plan and prepare routine and preventive maintenance (Electrical & Instrumentation) activities for efficient execution of maintenance across Shell Albian Sands.

· Execute maintenance planning tasks in accordance with Shell Maintenance Execution process.

· Review and analyze work orders ready for planning for correctness and adequacy.

· Manage planning backlog and interface with production area OMC (Operations Maintenance Coordinator) to define priorities.

· Ensure work order coding is accurately reflected in terms of equipment,priority,and financial coding.

· Prepare complete job plans for the efficient execution of corrective mechanical work.

· This involves:

- Conducting field visits to scope job requirements

- Including HSE Requirements,Job Steps,Support Crafts

- Requirements, Materials, Fabrication Steps, Cost Estimate, Engineering and Inspection Requirements, and Operation requirements in plans.

- Review together with OMC if planning duration exceeds initial expectations.

- Initiate requisition of non stock items.

- Check that planned work is within realistic completion dates.

- Interfacing with the Scheduler,Analyst,and Maintenance and Operations Coordinators to determine work activities.

- Create or Plan PM (Preventive Maintenance) tasks, generate Materials list, Operation steps

- Review 90 day PMs forecast,check and update PMs for execution readiness status and resource level

- Interfacing with Engineering and QA/QC group on incorporating requirements

- Initiating the procurement of materials and equipment as required.

- Evaluate job feedback to improve future work and update best plans

- Create, use and maintain plant history and other technical information to include in current job plans.

- Interfaces with project and plant change planning as required.

- Assist with Planning for Major Maintenance Jobs.

Requirements:

· Grade 12 Diploma

· Maintenance background (Electrical/ Instrumentation – Red Seal Journeyman Certification)

· 3-5 years in a Planning or Scheduling position is desired

· Experience in planning for multiple crafts

· Proficiency in CMMS (SAP) systems, specifically Equipment Maintenance, Purchasing Modules

· Proficient in MS Work, Excel, MS Project

· Knowledge of maintenance business processes and best practices, roles of specific trades, and manufacturing processes in an Upgrader, Refinery or similar Petrochemical operation

· Strong organizational and effective time management skills

· Flexibility in managing changing priorities and ability to work with minimum supervision

· Courses and seminars in the following area: Scheduling, Planning, Estimating, and

· Time Management are an asset

· Experience in a team environment is desired

· May influence indirectly on the Maintenance Annual Budget

· No direct reports

· Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday / 10 hrs

· Possibility of Fly-in-Fly-out option
