Responsibilities:


This position is considered a Multiple Successive Location Assignment (MSLA). An MSLA assignment is a project assignment that involves different phases of a project based in various countries and/or locations. By accepting this offer,you will be expected to move with the project team to additional locations depending on the contractor/FEED locations. Much of the assignment will be based in the USA under local terms. Country: US/Europe/Middle-East Regions (Houston / Pittsburgh). Job will an assignment of about approximately ~12-14 months in a location for Front-End Engineering and Detailed engineering that is to-be-determined. The role will move to the site (Northeast of US) following the detailed engineering process.

PURPOSE & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Serve as the Operations Rep focused on either two gas phase Polyethylene (PE) units or one slurry phase PE unit for the design,construction and start-up. Delivery of first class PE process technology working closely with the chosen Licensor to replicate best design principles from their reference plant,while also ensuring best practices are included as appropriate. The job eventually evolves to a position in support of the successful commissioning and start-up.

The role is responsible for ensuring the design considered operability and maintainability aspects. The role will be critical in the recruitment,training,and leadership of the operations workforce.

Participate in process design and engineering design team to deliver the PE design package. Alignment of the project design to the project requirements and the specific technology requirements; timely execution of individual milestones in accordance with the overall project schedule. Support the overall team objectives. Seek appropriate expert support where needed. Support implementation of best practices. Adhere to all HSE,regulatory,quality,and other applicable project standards. Evolve to a position in support of commissioning a start-up with a key emphasis on training support to the new team hired for Shell's new Manufacturing site.

Delivery of a robust design for world-scale plant PE unit(s) based on licensed technology. Focus of the work during the front end definition design and engineering activities with the ultimate goal of smooth and successful start-up of the project.

Position Requirements: Candidate must be able to relocate across Regions concentrating on the project from end-to-end with a strong focus on plant start-up and proven operation. This would include front end engineering development and detailed engineering,and then moving to site for the construction,commissioning,and start-up phases of the project.

Requirements:

· Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

· Preferably 10-20 years experience in technology or operations in a Manufacturing facility

· Strong preference for Polyethylene or other polymer experience including direct operational support
