Position Title: Surface Facilities Manager
Contract Duration: 2 years with possible extension, start ASAP
Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 9 hours a day; residential
Work Location: Shaanxi Province, China
Annual Leave/Rotation: Negotiable

Mission

1. In charge of the Client multidisciplinary engineering team for coordinating and supervising all Contractor & 3rd parties engineering activities, ensuring that the engineering design is performed according to project specifications, applicable codes & standards, contractual & schedule terms, safety and environmental impact constraints.

2. Manage the follow-up, review and approval of engineering deliverables related to specifications, design, supply, fabrication and installation.

3. To ensure that during design, construction and commissioning / start-up of facilities, all aspects related to engineering have been included and coordinated with the other areas of the Project, assisting the Project Manager in reaching the project objectives.

4. To manage, coordinate and control construction activities, ensuring that the work is performed according to project specification, budget, schedule and respecting all the relevant QC Standards & HSE procedures & regulations.

5. Ensure timely project completion in compliance with standards.

Requirement
1. Degree or Diploma in engineering or equivalent.
2. Good knowledge and previous experience (min. 15 years) related to design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning of oil & gas surface facilities and relevant contractual aspects.
3. Experience of onshore gas field in China would be a plus.
4. Good knowledge of the 5 years of sr. supervisory experience in major project construction.
5. Familiarity with EPIC/EPC/EPCM contracting preferred.
6. Fluency in English.
7. Chinese Mandarin spoken and written is a must.
