Base Competency:
*Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or quality management or other related field
*Preferably Black belt Six Sigma minimum Green Belt
*Strong knowledge in quality management and related tool box, as example Six Sigma
*Solid working experience of problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, continuous improvement and working with efficiency development at suppliers
*Good understanding of ISO9001/ISO14001/TS16949
*Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management especially towards suppliers and international sourcing in China
*Experience from industry environment and international companies
*Successful experience in supplier development and strong project management skills
*Fluent in English in both writing and verbally
*Discipline and team work spirit
*Proactive personality is a must and self driven
*Good and reliable communication skills and ability to develop practical solutions
*Passion to driving continues improvement
*To have personal situation to allow extensive travel
*Structured personality with systematic thinking
*Cross functional team player

Key deliverables:
*Work with sourcing and other related team members to qualify and develop suppliers and to build up supplier base.
*Conduct audits to ensure supplier’s quality and environmental systems can meet the requirements of group, regulatory and customers.
*Facilitate advanced supplier quality assurance planning from new part/product introduction to ensure project launch in time.
*Train suppliers on quality assurance concepts and methodologies to help suppliers enhance their awareness of nonconformity prevention and continuous quality improvement.
*Facilitate structured way of problem solving based on root cause analysis, corrective /preventative actions (8D methodology).
*Prepare SQA quality procedures and work instructions as needed.
*Work closely with local team and international team of Purchasing, Engineering and Operation, etc. to continually develop, maintain and implement a supplier management program.
*Extensive travel within mainly China, and occasionally internationally.
