职位描述
Role Purpose:
This role will lead a group of developers and senior developers and will be accountable for the build and executing the data sourcing functions for the assigned team; collaborating with internal stakeholders to build and develop key performance reports that will facilitate effective decision making within the business area.
Role responsibilities:
- Own the data sourcing function across all platforms and businesses. Ensure that information required for MIS is delivered accurately, efficiently and on a timely basis. Accountable for delivery and resolving any issues or problems
- Drive process improvements and standardisation of tools used
- Ensure that all coding is done in accordance to agreed Group MIS coding standards
- Provide campus leadership to the development team in Chengdu - ensuring that the team delivers on assignments.
- Drive the transition of sourcing and development processes & projects from onshore to Chengdu
- Analyse and recommend appropriate activities for complex requests and projects.
- Manage multiple BAU and project work streams, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Be able to report to key stakeholders on status, issues, costs, etc
- Lead a team of MIS specialists - both onshore and offshore - ensuring that they receive appropriate development, coaching and performance management
- Build capability across the team through ongoing and continuous learning
- Ensure that there is adequate backup for each of the team members, through adequate cross training and succession planning.
- Build a high performing culture
Role requirement:
- Tertiary qualifications in either accounting or Information Management
- 8 to 10 years practical experience in MIS design and development
- Proven ability to lead staff
- Technology professional, with a working finance knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Financial services experience
- Excellent english communication skills
