Ever wanted to become an English-Chinese translator!
Do you want to get a real working experience to interpret and translate English and Chinese languages? Do you want to understand how the business documents are translated professionally into English and Chinese languages? Now, we offer a good internship opportunity for individual who are considering a career in translation and are interested in learning more about the field.
Our translation internship provides undergraduate student the opportunity to learn from a first hand perspective to interpret English and Chinese languages and become a specialist in the translation services.
As an intern in our Translation Department, you will have to convert written material from Chinese or English towards its targeted audience. You need to ensure that there is a high degree of accuracy between the source language and targeted language that both content and grammar are up to standards and the targeted message is effective and accurate.
You will be working with colleagues from various departments to provide full range of written and verbal translations. The articles, documents and business materials that you will be translating are mostly related to financial and insurance fields.
This internship program will last for minimum 2 months. Qualified and good performer will have the opportunity to become permanent staff.
Responsibilities:
Written and oral English - Chinese / Chinese -English Translation
Requirements:
-Strong grammar and comprehension skills in English and Chinese
-Excellent computer literacy - MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
-Must be a detail-oriented and flexible team player who is responsible, hard-working, dedicated and deadline-oriented
-Minimum Education Level required: Undergraduate student in English Language major or English Translation major
