职位描述
Position Responsibilities:
? Conducts formulation experiments on drilling fluids and other fluid types as required. Optimizes these formulations using MWV products wherever possible.
? Develops specific fluid designs that meet customers' performance specifications as well as the troubleshooting of customers' application problems, mostly in the laboratory.
? Performs analytical procedures and evaluates competitors' products, MWV products and newly developed products.
? Develops new products or product formulations as required.
? Provides technical support to the customers mostly on laboratory formulation and additive usage.
? Prepares customer and internal reports as required by the management.
? Documents all experimental results and maintains organized records.
? Exhibits safe laboratory practices throughout the laboratory with all equipments and supplies.
? Any ad hoc assignment designated by the supervisor.
? Assist sales group in searching for new clients who might benefit from company products and maximizing client potential in designated regions.
? Assist sales group in developing long-term relationships with clients through interpreting their requirements.
? Persuading clients that a product best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, performance and delivery.
? Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services.
? Coordinating sales projects in the lab.
? Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
? Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
? Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
? Helping in the design of custom-made products.
? Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
? Gather and maintain adequate inventory of approved finished products for sample dispatch.
? Prepare/package samples and complete necessary documentation for sample dispatch delivery.
? Maintain an electronic database, enters/retrieves information regarding status and/or records of sample shipments to customers.
? Maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
Position Requirments:
? Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in drilling fluids and drilling fluid formulation along with related knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
? Bachelor degree in Chemistry, minimum.
? Knowledge of standard laboratory practices
? Knowledge of common drilling fluid systems and additives.
? Safe working habits and follows good chemical hygiene practices.
? Ability to become proficient in the use of specialized analytical procedures and instrumentation (i.e., basic analytical instrumentation skills such as GC, FTIR, UV, etc).
? Good computer skills.
? Good written and verbal command of English and Mandarin.
? Highly motivated, detailed oriented and able to multi-task.
