Role Summary:
Responsible for analysis, evaluation and screening of third party companies and orders to ensure third party operations are compliant under Agilent guidelines and requirements. Need to analyze financial information and data to verify bona fide status of third party companies; identify areas of non-compliance and apply internal processes and guidelines to ensure efficient resolution of issues and safe guarding of Agilent's interests. Should be familiar with and have deep understanding of internal Agilent order entry processes so as to advise and recommend changes or enhancements to ensure operation's streamlining, adjustments and improvements. Keeps management informed on progress, key issues and challenges which may impact on the business. Works closely with sales, finance, legal and other functions to structure third party orders and contracts are consistent with business objectives and in compliance with Agilent policies.
Role Responsibilities:
* Reviews, monitors and evaluates the status of all FTO orders against Agilent requirement to eliminate risk exposure.
* Assists Sales to contact with FTO to complete KYC process in the on-line tool
* Analyzes third party KYC profiles, financial standing, order report and legal status including the checks of credit and export controls to understand the role played by third party companies in Agilent order transactions, and then screening the potential risks to Agilent.
* Keeps management and all stakeholders informed on the up-to-date progress and status in a timely manner.
* Works with various stakeholders to provide the guidance and advice on process enhancement or provide valuable resolution to ensure operation's compliance within Agilent guidelines.
* Ensures and keeps the accurate documentation and records for audit purposes
Role Requirements:
* Bachelors or Masters Degree
* Typically minimum of 4-5 years relevant experience in Business Center, Finance, contracts, legal, compliance or a similar field
* A self-starter, comfortable working independently without high level of supervision
* Works well within ambiguity and under tight deadlines; good follow-through and closure
* Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders at various levels of seniority with different interests
* Exercises and demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to interpret and translate high level guidelines and instructions to actionable steps
* Ability to see patterns, establish associations and draw conclusions from various pieces of data and information
* Superior presentation, communication and influencing skills, fluent in written and oral English
