Manufacturing Engineer - Advanced

Manufacturing Engineer takes the product ownership inside Agilent Order Fulfillment organization, and is responsible for managing product performance; redesigning product to enhance quality and performance; developing manufacturing and test processes for new product introduction; resolving internal and external quality issues on a daily basis to ensure on time delivery of highest quality product; Proactively driving continuous improvement in the areas of responsibility to improve process efficiency and reduce manufacturing cost.

The major responsibilities include-
1.Manage the quality and operation performance for released products and lead cross functional team to drive improvement for product quality, operation and cost efficiency. Provide technical leadership to resolve product issues including customer quality feedback, production trouble shooting, product/part/process change qualification, etc.
2.Apply strong electrical/electronic and other product-related engineering knowledge for product redesign initiation, review and implementation in order to enhance product feature, resolve critical quality issues, improve manufacturing efficiency and optimize product cost structure.
3.Participate in NPI projects and partner with worldwide teams to ensure successful introduction of new products by developing manufacturing processes/tests for new products, advising R&D on optimized product design to realize best-in-class manufacturing processes.
4.Plan and scheme the test strategy by analyzing the new product's quality requirement, product structure and etc. to assure optimized test plan is defined and validated for quality control and operation process.
5.Develop test methodology for accurate, repeatable and reproducible measurement on required product performance. Validate the capability of measurement and control system against the test plan and product quality definition.
6.Create the test system design and define key technical solutions. Implement and qualify hardware and software to achieve robust, reliable, maintainable and user-friendly tester for manufacturing release.
7.Lead test system enhancement to improve or optimize the functionality and performance of existing test processes in alignment with the goal to continually improve process reliability and efficiency.

The successful candidate of this position are required to have the following qualifications-

* Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated leadership skill to drive continuous improvement on product quality, process quality and efficiency, cost reduction, etc.
* Proved educational and practical ability in mechanical design for product, fixture and tooling with disciplined DFx and FMEA principles and methodologies.
* Demonstrated excellent analytical problem solving skill.
* Demonstrated strong communication skill and effectiveness and ability to interface with others throughout organization ladder with great team work behavior.
* Demonstrated strong planning, organizing and presentation skill
* -Strong English skill in writing, listening and speaking
