- For our Metal Technologies entity, Siemens are looking to recruit an experienced Team Leader for Site Service.

What are my responsibilities?
- To supervise installation and site services activities at Clients sites for some or all of SLC's portfolio of MT equipment in Fluids function.
- To coordinate the activities of the SLC mechanical site teams with those of equivalent groups worldwide
- Responsible for the installation activities on site, ensuring that they are done as required to the standards that are required by Siemens.
- Site Activity Planning -Assist PMs to realistically estimate site hours and manning levels required to complete project

- Engineering Liaison (Manufacturers) -Provide engineering knowledge to design engineers regarding manufacturing processes and feasibility, Liaise with manufacturers to answer questions and coordinate deliveries to site
- Site Supervision -Oversee the activities of construction company personnel and where necessary check by measurement the quality of their work. Keep records of critical installation measurements for future reference.
- Engineering Liaison (Headquarters) - Provide engineering know-how specific to the Chinese market (e.g. capabilities of Construction Companies).
- Engineering Liaison (Client) -Act as a link between Siemens and the Client. As the face of Siemens on site, all site issues will be routed through you
- Recruiting - Interviewing candidates to gauge technical knowledge

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Education:
- Bchelor degree or above
- Good English communication skills both in verbal and written, including technical language
Knowledge/Languages:
- 2D Design with AutoCAD Mechanical
- Principle of fluids design technology and/or hydraulic engineering
- Rolling Technology experience
- Communication Skills
Experience:
- Experience of Iron and Steel or non-ferrous metal rolling is required.
- Backgrounds in metals processing equipment installation, commissioning is required.
- Experience of metals processing equipment manufacturing & inspection is an advantage.
- 3 years minimum experience in Fluids or hydraulic engineering for the heavy industry
- Prioritizing demands from multiple countries for resources.
- Mediating disputes between Siemens, Clients and Suppliers
- Experience of Chinese working culture
