- We are currently looking for Research Scientist (FPGA) for Siemens Corporate Technology.

What are my responsibilities?
- Technology innovation and predevelopment of electronics in motion control products, including servo motor and drive/inverter
- Technology innovation and predevelopment of embedded system for automation control application
- Take part in Siemens product development on demand by Business Units
- Related patent study/product analysis
- Technical support for Siemens global and local manufacturers

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Master+ degree, with senior background in Electrical Engineering or Automation Control
- 5+ years experience in digital and analog electronic circuit design for measurement and control, with system engineering capabilities
- 3+ years experiences in developing embedded system with FPGA, DSP
- Good at the usage of EDA tools, such as Mentor or Cadence
- It’s a plus to have knowledge of servo control system, including motor and drive
- Good in structuring complex problems with multi dimensional system requirements, breaking down into simpler and “orthogonal” components
- Able to quickly absorb the necessary know-how in a new subject domain, including related standards and constraints
- Quality-oriented, understand business processes and capable of communicating across organizational functions
- Fluent in English, both in oral and in writing
- Experience in multinational companies would be an advantage
