职位描述

JOB OBJECTIVE

-Assisting the Conference Development Manager in delivering sponsorship revenue for association clients, in the private and/or public sector, in an international & national environment.
-The Sales Manager is a polished, well-educated, confident and articulate professional, whose role is to present, and sell MCI’s portfolio of high quality events to multinational corporations interested in sponsoring or exhibiting.
-Success in the position requires the Manager to possess enthusiasm, integrity as well as a motivation to achieve the revenue targets set by MCI. Good communication skills as well as a customer oriented attitude are essential qualifications.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

-Responsible for making high-volume sales calls, to potential prospects for purpose of selling conference sponsorship and exhibition opportunities.
-Effectively communicating the value of MCI’s conferences to fortune 500 corporations who are potential sponsors/exhibitors.
-Provide first-class customer service and communication to prospects.
-Projects knowledge, energy and enthusiasm about MCI’s conferences.
-Responsible for achieving event sales target.
-Responsible for achieving personal KPIs (including but not limited to, dial rates, pitch time, close rates).
-Responsible for generating new business and increasing revenue from new and existing conference sponsors/exhibitors.
-Accurately forecasts and reports activities, call feedback and results to management.
-Executes the call plan and sales approach as determined by management.
Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

-3-4 years of sales experience is preferred.
-Must possess the ability to work with, and pitch to, senior level staff for sponsorship or exhibition opportunities.
-Candidate must have excellent communication, writing and reading skills.
-Candidate must be able to work on multiple projects and with minimal supervision both independently and be self-driven within a team structure.
-Candidate must have the ability to strategically identify potential sponsors/exhibitors, and stay focused in placing high volume outbound calls daily, in order to achieve sales targets.
-Experience in self-generating sales leads as well as the capability to work on warm leads.
-Conference sales experience/knowledge is a plus.
-Candidate must have a pleasant demeanor and a positive attitude to function within a team based environment.
