Summary:
As the new Tyco Fire & Security Company emerges, a key strategic goal is freeing up resources for growth and re-investment in the company. Central monitoring Services (CMS) business in Asia has been identified as a foundational element of its growth strategy for Asia. One of the major initiatives is the creation of a new CMS portfolio organization to drive the strategic & tactical execution within the fire & security monitoring businesses in Asia. Therefore, we are seeking an individual to fill this newly created role.

This position is responsible for regional sales channel development, based out of Shanghai Asia Headquarters. Reporting to VP of CMS, this position will be responsible for working with Asia CMS team and partners, building sales network (direct, JV, and franchising channels), ultimately driving CMS revenue/bookings, to accelerate and grow monitoring business. The right candidate must be an energetic person with passion and innate drive to excel at any task. This role goes beyond a traditional function – the person must have the ability to act independently and operate proactively and have a passion and drive for results in CMS channel development and rapid revenue growth.

This job allows the right candidate to hit a hot, fast-growing CMS market (alarm and video monitoring) with a new disruptive and best-of-breed technology. He or she must quickly identify right channel partners (internal & external) and drive for explosive sales growth in CMS.

Required Job Skills
- Sales and business development background, excellent negotiation skill and communication capability.
- Highly motivated; can work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing market and industry
- Sound analytical depth, strong technical skills in engineering or finance.
- Provide advisories to management.
- Deliver professional and compelling sales pitch at the C-level (new business model and sales channel concepts)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
- Aggressively leverage the sales channel to hunt for new sales and business development opportunities.
- Ability to communicate the value of Tyco/ADT products & services in a clear and succinct manners to channel partners
- Strong self-starter who can learn quickly and work independently
- Good organizational and interpersonal are required. Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.
- A demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of people as a team player.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple Asia & local stakeholders.
- Demonstrated good understanding of Asia markets and culture in particular China and Korea.

Measurement of Performance:
- Budget/Sales Performance
- Ability to implement against obstacles
- On-time channel development
- Staffing and retention
- Implementing and driving CMS sales success through channel development
- Quality of channel partners (recruited)

Job Responsibilities:
- Co-sell with partners and direct sales teams to drive bookings and revenue results (especially in residential and SMB business segments)
- Develop programs for growing/nurturing channel partners
- Execute a sales process from discovery, solution, pricing, negotiation, and close
- Act as Sales Manager for Channel opportunities
- Meet/Exceed Channel Sales Quota
- Define/drive improvements to the channel sales process (direct, dealers, and franchisees)
- Drive communication and alignment with key CMS stakeholders and senior management team in Asia
- Collaborate with direct sales, business development, marketing, product management and engineering to facilitate new programs, offerings, and initiatives to drive sales channel success
- Mentor other team members and demonstrate sales/channel leadership through example

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university;
- 10+ years of sales success (both direct and indirect channel);
- Advanced degree in sales or business development highly desirable;
- Progressive management experience a plus;
- Contract and negotiating experience desirable;
- MBA preferred;
- Strong English language is required;
- Fluency in Chinese and Korean preferred.
