职位描述
A. Job title / Job code / Reporting to :
AR Leader – Hertz RAC China, reporting to Hertz China Finance Manager
B. Job purpose
The AR leader will be the liaison between the customer and Hertz in monitoring collections. Primary contact will be by phone. This role acts as the main liaison between the customer’s A/P department and the company.
The key responsibilities and accountabilities for the incumbent are to:
§ Manager China AR team and deal with related activities.
§ Seeking for high efficient way to generate AR & revenue report and provide accurate monthly billing statement as required.
§ Check monthly AP to the vendors who provide rental service to the billed customer.
§ Be responsible for any special issue solution related to billing or coordinate with other department.
§ Help to set up internal credit control system for customer
§ Monitor aging accounts in regards to financial obligations to Hertz.
§ Maintain close contact with sales representative to ensure customer is providing timely payment for services rendered.
§ Report A/R status to controller, operations manager and director on a weekly basis.
§ Extend and deny credit approvals for customers over credit limit.
§ Prepare monthly statutory report for tax filing and audit purpose, get reconciliation between statutory and management report.
§ Liaison with tax consultant and external auditors to complete tax filing and audit work.
C. Key-result areas
§ Reduce A/R collectibles.
§ Maintain contact with customer to better understand their financial outlook.
§ Keep log of customer contact in Rentalman to ensure proper history.
§ Monitor and deal with credit issues by researching customers pay history and external factors.
§ Review reports daily and use them to address issues with financial risk.
§ Make the daily number of phone calls to customers required by Controller and log each call.
§ Maintain close relationship with sales representatives to ensure proper understanding of customer.
§ Be knowledgeable about A/R practices including proper customer contact.
§ Conduct business safely.
§ Maintain company standards in appearance, attendance, manner, ethics and professionalism.
§ Ensure good information flow between customers and management through frequent communication.
§ Maintain a proper reconciliation between statutory and management report.
§ Ensure monthly tax filing and annual audit are on time and smooth.

E. Knowledge, skills and experience required
Educational Background:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or business
Professional Experience:
§ 8 years AR/Credit Control in similar roles is a must.
§ At least 5 years supervisory experience.
§ Oracle, YongYou or other ERP system experience is referred.
Knowledge:
§ Awareness of risk factors associated with extending credit
§ Strong ability to convey urgency while maintaining relationship and realizing customer needs
§ Ability to plan and budget available company resources
Skills:
§ Good command of written English for daily cooperation with region management.
§ Good organization skills
§ Sales driven
§ Desire to advance
§ Good excel
