Essential Responsibilities:
1. We are seeking a skilled hardware designer. He/She will join and support the development of the Harman next generation high speed CPU module, he/she will design the mother board to verify the CPU module which include all the high speed interfaces(PCIe, USB3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, CSI, HDMI…) used in the PC.
2. Follow up the evoluation of embedded processor and specification upgrading of peripheral interfaces. Propose reliable and cost-effective solutions to customer according to automaker’s requirement.
3. Detail hardware design and verification. Work closely with FPGA , BIOS and manufacturing test software team to make the CPU module and mother board fully verified for development, environment qualification and manufacturing phase.
4. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
– Embedded Processor prestudies with architecture team and other HW competencies. Introduce new technology evolutions of various peripheral interfaces.
– Definition of the Harman CPU module interface and write the external specifications
– Manage and support the ODM suppliers who design and produce CPU modules for Harman. Review technical reports and Qualify samples in each sample phase.
– Design schematic, simulate and guide the layout for high speed parts.
– Ensure specific components/modules selected for CPU module.
– Analyze and support the CPU module related problems happened in the field or from manufacturing plants.

Basic Qualifications:
1. English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking
2. Strong experience in general hardware development methodologies, especially electronic design(Power, embedded CPU, DDR, Flash, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, CSI..) .
3. Familiar with the mainstream peripheral chipset used in desktop PC or Laptop.
4. Good knowledge in high speed CPU mother board product industrialization
5. Good knowledge in standards and approvals related to CPU mother board.
6. Good knowledge of high end equipments and methodologies for high speed signals’ simulation andmeasurement.
7. Good knowledge of components selection (including technology and cost). Profit VS Concern(risk) analysis.
8. Bachelor Degree with E&E major minimum.
9. More than 5 years experience in hardware mother board development, including all steps such as pre-studies, development and certification.

1. Preferred General knowledge in automotive APQP process.
2. Preferred Automotive infotainment product development experience
3. Required Good presentation and communication skill
4. Required fluent oral and written English
5. Required Responsible and stress tolerance work trait
