Job Responsibility

· Strategy consultancy for bank clients in the area of loan origination, risk based pricing, credit limit management, collection, loss forecast and provisioning, stress testing, fraud detection and prevention, etc., as well as on business process improvement. Candidate may play a similar role in working with clients from Consumer Finance, Telco and Insurance sector.

· Effective management of client relationship.

· Sales support function by identifying business needs, developing practical solutions and pitching to prospects.

· Managerial responsibility to lead a team of consultants.

Job Requirement

· Minimum 5 year working experience in Banking, Consumer Finance, Insurance or Telco industry, with an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or MBA.

· Banking industry experience is preferred. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Origination, Account Management or Collection Department, working on credit policies and strategies, is required. Exposure to BII credit risk IRB, Fraud prevention or Marketing strategy design is a plus. OR,

· A minimum of 3 years working in a consulting role with retail lending (credit card, personal loans, auto loans, mortgage, SME lending, etc.) or other financial institution clients, on creating business strategies and scorecard related solutions(including BII IRB), is required. The related experience must include design, implementation and evaluation of credit risk/marketing related strategies for acquisition/underwriting, account management or collection strategies. Experience in providing consulting driven sales support is a plus.

· Strong communication and inter-personnel skill, including presentation and documentation in both Chinese and English(or one other language), is a must.

· Analytical capability such as scorecard development, segmentation and other statistical approaches is strongly recommended.

· Well versed with common analytical tools, including SAS, SAS E-Miner or SPSS or SPLUS.
