JOB CONTEXT
This is a replacement position and a key competency of the Project engineering team. It is critical to assure for Capital investment project that Systems and Instrumentation design and application, practices, standards, as well as local regulations are strictly implemented during all project phases with the objective to ensure that Systems and field Instrumentation are properly addressed to achieve plant safety and performance as well as other project overall targets.
The job is part of the industrial function with a double reporting to GECAP Specialists Department Manager and close liaison with GEC WW

JOB SPECIFICATION
Indicate below the following:

* Education Level

- BSc degree in relevant Automation and Control Engineering

* Length of Working Experience

- Minimum 10 year’s working experience in the related chemical industry environment (pharmaceutical / petrochemical/ fine chemical ),
- Knowledgeable on international codes IEC and GB standards and codes and Standard practices , PRC regulations, permit to work and other national legal requirements for the safe execution of control and automation
- Have high level of safety awareness and competent in designs and reviews
- Ability to support discipline engineers to review change order proposal from subcontractors.
- Good skill in computer, familiar with office software.
- Fluent in written and verbal English and Chinese
- Working proactively with result oriented and teamwork spirit
