PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Work from process document or instructions, inspect and sort incoming raw material to ensure non-conforming parts are correctly identified and isolated. Maintain system records to ensure inventory is appropriately controlled.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inspection:
- Appropriately use tools and equipment to inspect and sort incoming raw material to quality and quantity standards defined in the inspection instruction.
- Finish inspection tasks on time according to monthly build plan.
- Quarantine non-conforming parts with clear identification.
- Monitor and apply for tools and equipment calibration before calibration validity falls due.
- Strictly follow special handling requirement on critical parts.
- Strictly implement ESD control for electrical parts.
- Ensure safety, cleanness and tidiness of work environment.

2. Inventory Control:
- Maintain system records to ensure inventory is appropriately controlled. Physical stock is aligned with SAP inventory.
- Perform cycle count when necessary.

3. Data recording:
- Clearly identify and book defects according to issue recording and classification requirements for non-conforming material.
- Input parts failures into database.
- Maintain record of defects and complete summary report on a regular basis.

4. Problem Escalation:
- Inform technician, engineer of tooling or process problems that may affect inspection quality and schedules.


Required Qualifications:
Mechanical or electrical discipline in technical school or above or equivalent education and work experience.
Fundamental measurement & testing skill.
Good MS office application skills.
Good understanding of ISO regulation.
Strong ESD and EHS consciousness.

Desired Qualifications:
Basic English communication ability.
Good understanding of quality control, such as TQM
Good understanding of statistical analysis and reporting.
