职位描述

Key Objectives:

This role is responsible for:

  • All aftersales-relevant aspects of dealer performance under assigned geographical areas.

  • Consult with dealers on methods and plans to permit the maximisation of aftersales business potential.

  • Act as the brand ambassdor of BMW and cting as main interface between wholesale and retail operations.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, agree and achieve annual aftersales business plan with dealers with agreed actions and strategic goals.

  • Assist dealers to establish parts budget plan, which reflect BMW’s business plans. Ensure dealers maintain adequate stock by line items and range.

  • Maintain aftersales process and retail standards and ensure understanding and adherence to the requirements of customer satisfaction indicators.

  • Monitor the dealers staffing requirements and ensure training is planned and
    undertaken in accordance with BMW guidelines and that any special needs are advised to BMW China.

  • Coache dealers with operating deficiencies; develop action plan and ensure that it is carried out in accordance with BMW guideline in agreed schedule; coach and assist with new dealer's set-up; ensure that best practices are shared within the dealer network.

  • Ensure achievement of dealer targets by performing regular dealer visits, monthly and quarterly performance monitoring.

  • In a timely and objective manner, identify dealer issues that would require central support. Efficiently mobilize resources from central (ie. Field force, training department) that would address identified issues.

  • Ensure that each dealer is prepared, and can adequately support each new model introduction.

  • Train, challenge, motivate, encourage, and provide constructive guidance to dealer aftersales managers and the team related to all areas of effective operations.

  • Support aftersales marketing activities.

  • Monitor and evaluate customer needs and competitor activity in the market, ensuring that marketing campaigns are relevant and targeted.

  • Aftersales customer complaint handling and crisis management coordination


Education / Degree:

  • University degree or above, majored in Economics, Management or Engineering related major


Knowledge / Skills / Competences:

  • Fluent in local language and English

  • Competence with various computer programs

  • A sound understanding of dealer’s aftersales activities is required, together with the ability to interpret data on parts business, and to analyze requirements

  • Ability to negotiate and communicate with dealers, to express and explain BMW policies and objectives

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior managers, partners, and customers.

  • Excellent managing skills and good team player

  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial with strong problem solving, negotiation and decision making ability

  • Ability to present ideas, concept and approaches to dealers


Experience:

  • 4~6 years of area manager experience, preferably automotive

  • 7~10 years of automotive industry knowledge
