The SSgA - Interactive team is responsible for providing global:

• Internet services to the public
• Secure Internet services to SSgA’s clients and interested parties (institutional investors and investor services)
• Intranet services to SSgA
• Client reporting applications to SSgA client service teams
• Content management infrastructure to SSgA, required to manage and maintain Internet, client reporting and Intranet services

The State Street Hangzhou office supports the SSgA Interactive team with Development, Quality Assurance, Technical Support and Business System Analysis services.

Position Description

As a business analyst, the candidate will work closely with Development, Quality Assurance, Technical Support and Business System Analysis teams located in Boston, Bangalore and Hangzhou. This candidate will be responsible for soliciting and documenting the business needs of in-regional marketing and client reporting applications. To better support SSgA APAC business needs, this candidate will also be responsible of developing the product management and business analyst capabilities in Hangzhou.

Job RESPONSIBILITIES

Major Responsibilities

1. Communicate with Asia-Pacific marketing, sales, client relationship and any client faced teams closely to solicit and gather the requirements.

2. Document the business requirement clearly; manage the requirement changes proactively, and maintain the BR document accordingly.

3. Closely work with Boston based product managers and senior business analyst to evolve the products globally.

4. Work with the different functional teams on requirement clarification, product check-out. Proactively communicate the requirement changes or new product features to the functional teams timely.

5. Attend the project closure meetings and post-implementation review sessions. Review and improve the process and team efficiency.

Qualifications

1. At least 3 years working experience in finance industry.

2. Excellent written and oral communication skills;

3. Excellent skills of hosting the meeting (over the phone, in instant chat, or in video). Excellent problem-solving and requirement solicitation skills.

4. Have a good understanding on ETF business.

5. Be proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
