Position: Plant General Manager
Location: ChangShu
Objective:
- The General Manager for USA-based automotive components company in China for its WOFE. This position has complete profit and loss responsibility. As the leader of WOFE, this individual will accomplish cooperate objectives by building and leading a strong team in line with corporate values.
Responsibilities:
- Complete responsibility for P&L. Develop plans, budgets, forecasts and financial analyses to achieve business objectives ;
- Control and direct the activities of the business. Develop both the short-term and long range business plans and organizational strategy to meet company’s financial and strategic objectives ;
- Build relationships with key customers and prospect through understanding of individual customer’s needs and requirements;
- Achieve the set budgets and targets by driving sales through own efforts and by instilling a sales and service orientation to staff. Understand strategic objectives and translate them into business goals with achievable objectives. Convey strong
leader ship attribution to the company and build strong teamwork spirit throughout organization;
- Establish internal controls, policies and procedures to project the company’s assets and consistent with the company’s philosophy. Ensure optimum operating efficiency by consistently monitoring and identifying ways to improve these processes and reduce costs;
- Recruiting, managing performance, retaining and developing key reports. Build a multi-skilled team that both represent the core values and fit the culture of corporate office. Align with Human Resource to ensure continuous improvement and career development of associates.
Requirements:
- Proven strong leadership capabilities;
- Bachelor’s degree is required and Master degree in business is a plus;
- Minimum 7 years previous experience in automotive industry related;
- General management experience to include profit &loss accountability;
- Previous company start-up and brand building experience highly desirable, with knowledge of China market required;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Require initiatives and ability to work both independently( satellite managed ) and within a team;
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
