Key Responsibilities:
? Quality Assurance and Testing of NICE’s flagship customer feedback solutions products
? Creation and development of test suites (manual and automated) for current and future functionality
Key Skills and Knowledge:
Software Test Skills
? Advanced Manual Testing experience and Test Automation development
? Design and specification of test plans and test cases for software containing some complex calculations and requirements
? Black box (specification based) test techniques
? Web Application Testing techniques; compatibility testing, security testing etc
? Advanced SQL knowledge.
? Clear, reproducible defect raising and knowledge of workflows in defect tracking tools such as Atlassian Jira
Relevant Software Environments / Tools
? Web Applications - adept in debugging / identifying issues in client-side HTML, CSS, Flex and JavaScript (including JavaScript framework libraries), and particularly server-side technologies (JSP, ASP, PHP)
? MySQL or similar – ability to quickly understand, navigate and interrogate SQL databases
? Linux/Unix based BE installations
? Test Management and Test Automation tools such as Microfocus Silk tool suite (Silk Central Test Manager & Silk Test) or similar
Software Methodology
? Full SDLC experience and understanding and practiced in Agile methodologies, specifically SCRUM
? Understands the Fundamental Test Process and is able to analyse test data to evaluate software quality of AUT
? Ability to identify, implement and follow through on software quality improvements for area of ownership
Soft Skills
? Adaptability and a proven record of working under pressure to tight delivery timescales. Able to work and meet targets with minimal supervision
? Collaborative team worker who can communicate effectively with development, operations and QA lead in a very dynamic and Agile environment
? Self motivated and opinionated (but diplomatic) tester who can take on role of guardian of software quality for their product
? Inquisitive mind and passionate about their work
? Quick to gain and apply new skills
Experience and Qualifications:
? Degree level education of equivalent experience
? 1+ years of commercial experience in software testing
? ISEB or ISQTB Foundation in Software testing or above is desirable
