The company:
Our client is a world leading international industrial automotive products manufacturer company, with over 90 years experiences, and over 50 sales networks globally. Today the company employs more than 40,000 people in the world. Their legal entity is located in the region of Wuxi, Suzhou. They are recognized as a premier supplier to highest quality and provide unique experiences to the customers. Today the company is further expanding their business and seeking for a Chinese leader to plan and establish technical capability to support business growth and localization of products for China.
Your mission and task:
Your mission will be to plan and establish technical capability to support the business growth and localization of products for China. For mid to long term you should optimize the engineering capacity and develop new products to create new business. You will participate in learning technologies and connect with the engineering team globally to be part of them, and to transfer technologies into the team in China. You will play a pioneer role to establish a new department and create the functions successively in China.
Your profile:
You are passionate about new technologies with over 10 years working experiences in engineering, development of mechanical, hydraulic, or engine/brake system components. You have experience in start-up or new application development in transportation industry. It is essential that you have working experience in transportation business in general with products such as mechanical, hydraulic components for automotive or aerospace industries. Experience in leading a small team and understanding of project management in the above mentioned industry are of advantage. Fluency in both Mandarin and English in writing and speaking is mandatory, so you can communicate well with your international and national colleagues. You also shall be a commercially oriented and creative individual who is a relationship builder and proactive to work with others.
