Objective of job
- Development and implementation of strategic and tactical concepts coupled with policies, guidelines, tools and targets to improve and maintain a profitable After-Sales business on wholesale and retail level, while increasing the Customer Satisfaction with our products and services.
Qualification required
- Education
- University degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant experience in strategic planning, project management and product marketing.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Work Experience
- At least two years experience in an automotive business environment.
- Excellent analytical, research, presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent team spirit.
- Specific Knowledge
- Excellent understanding and feel for marketing practice and principles in a retail environment.
- Extensive knowledge of auto, parts and accessories activities is essential, with a sound understanding of commercial, financial, sales, inventory control and logistics in dealer After Sales
- Knowledge of German will be a plus
Task designation
- 1. After-Sales Strategy
- Collect market research data, competitor information and internal business intelligence.
- Work closely with director to develop a long and mid-term After-Sales strategy.
- 2. Business Development
- Assist to maintain and further develop a profitable and customer focused After-Sales business on wholesales and retail level.
- Assist to maintain a high vehicle/customer retention and market share.
- 3. Product Management
- Develop and implement After-Sales Products and Services.
- Assist to develop and implement respective tools, policies and guidelines
- 4. Market Research/Analysis/Intelligence
- Implement, analyze and develop actions related to market research and intelligence.
- 5. Accident Management
- Develop proposals regarding fundamental problems or project related to accident management;
- Monitor the market development and dealership performance of insurance business and accident repair throughput and parts turnover;
- Identify dealership current problems on accident repair and insurance business and develop countermeasures;
- Work with other After-sales teams to apply countermeasures to improve dealership performance on accident repair business and customer satisfaction

MBCL also oversees the Hong Kong operation via Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Ltd. (a 100% Daimler AG subsidiary), which manages the imported MBC passenger cars and CV for Hong Kong and Macau.
