Objective of job

• Provide technical support to the engineering department. Provide rework descriptions. Repair engines/vehicles. Replacement and retrofit of new parts in testing engine/vehicles. Responsible for all the tools and equipment in the work shop.
• Foresee resource demand and ensure supply to keep the operational process ongoing at the work shop.

Qualification required

• Education
• Degree in recognized automotive education
• Good Writing Skills for Reporting,
• English basics
• Experience
• Experience in Engine/Vehicle Repair min 3 years, preferable Mercedes Benz Dealership
• Excellent driving skills
• Record of driving experience min. 3 years
• Specific Knowledge
• Capable of evaluating test vehicles regarding NVH, interior, powertrain, chassis and suspension behavior
• Technical understanding of engines/vehicles
• Capable of executing maintenance & repair on testing engines/cars

Task designation

• Engine/Vehicle maintenance & repair
• Document issues and changes
• Support the engineers in technical issue analysis
• Evaluating testing engines/vehicles regarding NVH, interior, powertrain, chassis and suspension behavior
• organize tools and build shop equipment; order new tools
• Ride & Drive, VIP Drives
• Disassemble Testing engines after given process and documentation of all process steps
• Preparation of engine analysis work shops
• Test bench support
