Role Description:

The Account Manager is responsible to build, maintain and grow profitable relationships with clients on the recurring processes in the domain of pay (salary reviews, total compensation statements, etc.), talent (talent review, hi-potential detection, leadership development, etc.) and effectiveness (employee engagement and enablement). You will also ensure that we are servicing (training etc) our clients in line with required expectations.


As an account manager you will gain knowledge of all products and services available in these categories and be able to identify opportunities to sell these products primarily through the strong commercial and business development skills you possess.

Primary Activities:

1. Develop and execute account plans/ action plans for clients to ensure you/we are achieving renewal and cross-sell targets.


2. Manage and invest time proactively in building relationships with the key client decision makers across Pay, Talent and Effectiveness. This includes understanding the client organization, businesses, locations, internal structure, immediate/long term needs, roles, how they manage their HR processes, the history of working with Hay Group etc.


3. Track and monitor progress in every area fostering frequent communications throughout the account and to the network, through calls and meetings hence ensuring the overall satisfaction of the client.


4. Delivering on our client service expectations by answering questions regarding information, market intelligence, training, job matching etc.


5. Proactively working with our Consulting colleagues to ensure that our products and services are part of client engagements. Share and leverage knowledge and opportunities on accounts where relevant.


6. Works closely with all parts of the team including BDMs ensuring that we facilitate and agree on plans/actions for client development/handover/service.


7. Act as a project manager for more complex client delivery projects


8. Partners with marketing to establish appropriate client campaigns and material are available for an increase in response and client satisfaction.


9. Ensures all the contractual and CRM requirements are followed in client engagements.

Qualifications:

1. University graduate with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant sales experience

2. Proven business development skills, specifically in a B2B context

3. Ability to open and close business at senior levels

4. Affinity with an HR focused clientele

5. Excellent relationship building skills and client empathy

6. Willingness and ability to travel; Multilingual capabilities a plus

7. Excellent networking, selling, communication and presentation skills.

8. Self-starter and able to operate under general direction with minimal supervision

9. Must possess a high level of integrity, self discipline and positive attitude
