REPORT TO: CEO
Sr. Global HR VP
SUPERVISORS: 8
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible to identify, develop and implement the company's policies and strategies in relation with human resources operation in China
2. Ensure HR strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards
3. Set up HR strategies and implementation plan as a change partner in helping organization change and management, Identify and clarify needs for improvement within the existing organization and participate and/or coordinate organizational restructuring programs together with line management/SBU/Business division/subsidiaries
4. maintain and develop a HR professional team to support business area/line management/SBU/Business division/subsidiaries
5. Culture alignment and integration for Merge & Acquisitions
6. Support to area/line management/SBU/Business division/subsidiaries to develop and implement local human resource strategies are appropriate for the business needs, direct high potential and exchange programs
7. Liaison with functional or operational area/line management/SBU/Business division/subsidiaries to develop and implement local human resource strategies appropriate for their business needs
8. Execute HR program regarding attracting, developing and retaining people in China and making continuous improvement inputs, Apply existing (traineeship, internship) and identify new tools for attracting talents to Operations Ensure quality seasonal/temporary workforce & data maintenance for legal and management purposes
9. Ensure processes are put in place to continually improve operating efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction of internal managers, staff and clients
10. Provide guidance to management team in the handling of layoffs, staff reduction, terminations of employees and employee relation's issues
11. Enhance internal service standards for the HR function to support the business
12. Liaising with the International Service Coordinator and overseas HR contacts to ensure that in coming and out going processes are effectively managed
Requirements:
1. Top tier Universities, Bachelor's degree or above with major in science, Human Resource, Administration or related disciplines, MBA degree is a plus
2. At least 10 years' general Human Resource experience in high-tech industry with values chains covering sizable team in R&D, manufacture, direct selling and services
3. Solid experience in key HR functions including staffing and recruitment, C&B compensation and benefits, training and development, industrial relations/labor relations and organizational effectiveness, with at least 8 years' working in a managerial role in MNC
4. Cross functional career track record covering, Sales or R&D HR preferred
5. Strong business acumen, HR strategy and cross-functional thinking with focus on driving business results and commercial understanding Experience in driving organizational transformation, improvement and effectiveness during integration of M&A(merge & acquisition )
6. Familiar with PRC Labor Law and related legislations
7. Strong leadership
8. Communication and interpersonal skills, team working and management skills
9. Fluent in English and Mandarin languages
