Department Description
The Microcontroller Group is the most critical and exciting part of Freescale. The organization is responsible for the definition and drive next generation 8, 16, 32bit MCUs, Wireless Connectivity and MPU Solutions. The team has responsibility for roadmaps, IP libraries, new derivatives, and SW solutions. The team is built to support a world-wide and dynamic customer base over a large base of customers serviced through OEM and distribution/ channel accounts.
We now recruit the “customer project manager” for Freescale Microcontroller Group in Asia Pacific Region, taking care of the rapidly grow customers’ supports who are developing their products based on Freescale MCU processors.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Manage Customer Projects based on MCU processors by loyal and competent handling with customers and internal team members
? Establish project objectives by clear communication with customers and internal team members
? Manage commitments and information providing from the internal team to the customers and the expectations from the customers.
? Control project plan and schedule changes; monitor scope changes, direct, and keep team on track
? Meet delivery dates and quality standards
? Continuously evaluate project risks, develop contingency/risk management plans, and execute contingency plans at the appropriate time.
? Timely report of issues/progress, proper escalation when necessary
? Internal Coordination – Marketing, IC, SW, Quality, Application Engineering, Sales
? External Coordination – Customers, 3rd Parties
To ensure your successful performance in this role, the following working experience is required:
? Minimum of 3 years Embedded industrial project management experience
? Experience with ARM or DSP family is desired
? Experience in Motor Control, Digital Power Metering, Wireless Charging, Multimedia industry or Linux/WinCE/RTOS development a plus
? Project Management Professional (PMP) certified a plus
? Knowledge in SW process a plus
? Excellent written and oral communication skills needed to clarify, disseminate and interpret project information to the team members
? Good communication skills
? Good knowledge of PC-work (MS-Office: Word, Excel etc.)
? Commercial knowledge & customer oriented manners
? Readiness of mind in challenging environment of unforeseen changes and complex human relationship
? Graduation from EE is desired
