Description
1 OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
RBS OPM is responsible for the product line after GA in terms of monitoring and improving product quality to secure the correct priority and attention of product quality issues at relevant design responsible and maintenance projects.
Will be working in close cooperation together with our Maintenance Teams as well as global Regions and be dealing with product quality and field issues.
2 RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITIES
Obtain and maintain relevant methodologies used within Ericsson and a wide knowledge of Ericsson products and Site environment.
Monitor field performance of the released products in our responsibility, mainly RBS in RBS2000 and RBS3000 series for GSM and WCDMA.
Be responsible to secure the correct priority and attention of product quality issues at relevant design responsible and maintenance projects.
Manage the communication with BUGS and Customer Units concerning the field performance of our HW units.
Manage the HW field performance KPI, field issues and market expectations on HW field performance.
Manage the field activities, such as FCO, RCO and SA.
Participation in Damage Control projects when applicable.
Drive assigned tasks at RCB (Review and Correction Board)
Recommend improvements for both products and Ways of Working.
Ability to act as team leader to co-ordinate, communicate and support stakeholders and interfaces.
Can take a lead and drive Product issues in field
Be able to discuss requirements and issues with Customer Units and Product Managements.
3 REPORTING LINE
Reports to the department manager, Head of Products in Field at CBC/XRQ

· Sourcing
· Global service of Ericsson
Qualifications
· Technical Education (master or bachelor) or equivalent relevant practical experience
· Customer focus, good technical understanding, result orientation
· Have a holistic system perspective and RBS knowledge with experience from working with RBS products
· Leadership skills are highly appreciated but also ability to work well independently to manage the role as team leader in task forces.
· Good team player with strong communication skill.
· Fluent English, both spoken and written
· Well organized and creative
· Result oriented and good initiative
· Self-motivated with positive personal personality
· The ability to travel
