Managed Services Consultant – Sales
The job holder is highly involved in sales activities through the preparation of a MS sales/engagement plan (jointly with the KAM) and identification of MS sales activities. The role requires good business competency supporting the Account commercial responsible. In an MS engagement, he/she acts as the subject matter experts in supporting the development of the MS commercial solution and in the use the Ericsson MS business case tool. He/She is responsible for ensuring the validity of the business case by working together with the solution and the delivery team. Depending on the scope of the business case, this role may be acting as the Commercial Lead supporting the KAM in the sales engagement.
He/She shall play a key role on supporting Managed Services deals following the overall MS strategy and regional business goals.
He/She shall be Subject Matter Expert on commercial aspects, with hands-on experience, in Business case modeling, Risk Assessment, supporting Due Diligence activities and Contract negotiations. Emphasis is set on business’ profitability, feasibility on deliveries and a thorough understanding of customers’ Operations Organization.
He/She will actively interact with Senior-level customer representatives (Op. Director, CTO, Procurement, others).
The Job
· Support MS tactical and operational plans for the Region or CU Account team
· Identify/perform actions to enhance business (existing and new customers)
· Follow and support business development initiatives in the Region or CU account team
· Support Sales organizations with Sales’ rationale, costing and pricing
· If required, act as Bid Manager during MS tender processes
· Define commercial framework (integrate) with MS solution team, delivery team and SME from different supporting functions such as HR, sourcing and finance.
· Ensure and support the documentation all costing assumptions related to business case for the MS deal and ensure the information are shared with the core 3.
· Document knowledge to enable an effective knowledge sharing process and organizational development. Sharing knowledge in internal and external forums.

Qualifications

The Requirement

· Have a qualification to Bachelor degree level or equivalent in Business / Management / Finance/ Engineering/IT/Telecom Operations
· At least 7 years experience in consulting (in telecom/IT),or in professional services sales with experience gain either from internal Ericsson or other telecom/IT vendors, and/or from telecom operator environment experience in relevant positions;
· Strong commands of Microsoft office tools suite in particular Excel, Power point and Word
· Has good hands-on experience in business case modeling, cash-flow analysis and profitability analysis
· Good knowledge of business case and financial modeling
· Has an aptitude for business control supporting the evaluation and optimization of operational costing
· Good project management skills
· Good communication skills
· Good Team Player
· Proactive business development skills
· Fluent in oral and written English and Chinese

Candidate possesses below requirements will be preferred:

Some knowledge of operator’s network plan / design, build and operate activities (preferably from a management perspective).
Some knowledge of telecommunications access, transmission, core and service networks, as well as BSS.
