职位描述

Role Purpose


1.This position (50%) is for business development for Z3 which needs solid market connection in PTA industry. This regional role needs to explore opportunities, attract new PTA downstream investments to Zhuhai in line with our BPZ Z3 expansion strategy;

2.This position is also taking 50% role to serve as the frontline interface between BP and customers to sell BP PTA products in South &SEA area. At the same time, supports marketing related short /long term forecasting, market studies, competitor activities, and formation of sales/marketing strategies."

Key Accountabilities


1.Successful candidate will need to manage 3-5 key accounts or 60-80kmt per annum sales in South and South East Asia areas.

2.Work closely with external customers (mostly owners or decision makers) to conclude long-term contracts and ensure short-term regular offtake of PTA product; negotiate pricing and other operational issues. Also work with other industry players such as consultants, associations, etc. to understand the market dynamics;

3.The job holder will need to participate in marketing study projects related to polyester industry, competitors and financial environment, etc;

4.Negotiate with customers on price, volume and shipping schedules according to PTA Asia's guidelines and translate these inputs into the operating plan;

5.Successful candidate will need to Coordinate with Zhuhai government and Gaolan Port to develop a business plan to attract co-location chance for Z3;

6.Take a lead to cooperate with China Market Development Managers to explore co-location opportunities from China and overseas;

7.Closely promote Yuhua re-location to BPZ with an expansion project to enlarge the PTA value chain in Zhuhai or S. China areas.


Essential Education


1.Over 5 years China sales experience especially in B to B business environment;

2.The candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of internal and external people; deep understanding and sensitive to multi-culture business environment;

3.Have strong negotiation skill and be able to handle complex commercial situation;

4.Proven record of delivering successful commercial results;

5.Marketing, product management and/or supply chain management experiences handling product pricing, logistics and manufacturing operating is a plus;

6.Exposure to polyester chain or textile related industry preferred;

7.Outstanding analytical and power point presentation skills.


Education

University degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration


Languages Needed

1.English - Fluent (MUST)

2.Mandarin - Fluent


Essential Experience and Job Requirements

1.Former SSEA business experience is a plus;

2.Project experience is a plus.
