职位描述

1. Purpose of role:
? To support the development and implementation of one or more category sourcing strategies within the supply market segment
? To support the development of working relationships with business stakeholders
? To execute standardised strategic sourcing processes to meet the market segment strategy and business objectives
? To oversee the collation and analysis of supplier data and to use this to improve contracts and relationships with key suppliers
? To engage with suppliers communicating expectations of them and developing improvement programmes
? To delegate procurement activities where necessary to the procurement hubs
? To undertake procurement activity in accordance to corporate policies and processes, defined governance and delegations of authority
2. Key Results/ Accountabilities

Category management
? Contribute to development of market segment and category strategies, plans and priorities, identifying opportunities to leverage value or mitigate market risks
? Gain a clear understanding of the range of goods and services that fall within allocated categories, becoming a source of expert knowledge
Sourcing
? Help detail the segment plans with milestone objectives. Provide information on variances against the time plan.
? Understand and help deliver against performance measures for the category
? Carry out risk assessments and feedback information and mitigation proposals where needed
? Support the full sourcing process to ensure delivery of business plans and category strategies, in collaboration with business stakeholders
? Profile sourcing group to understand the supply base and analyse and categorise suppliers using appropriate tools
? Generate the supplier portfolio by reviewing the potential supply base and establishing a consistent supplier selection process acceptable to all stakeholders
? Identify and evaluate potential sourcing strategies; run risk analysis; document sourcing strategies
? Execute sourcing strategies, using e-enabled sourcing tools where appropriate
? Support suppliers selection and negotiation
? Integrate suppliers, supporting the implementation of new contracts and ensuring efficient change management
? Develop jointly-agreed performance measurement framework with suppliers and continuously monitor and improve supplier contracts
? Develop a good understanding of the global and regional supply base, and undertake investigative supply market tracking. Seek out opportunities for innovation and change instigated by suppliers
? Where required, liaise and become knowledgeable on relevant OD&I activities and support supply and specification developments required for the category
? Monitor detailed compliance within the category to all corporate social, environmental and financial risk and HSE , and understand and track implementations/processes connected to authority to commit and FSA regulations
? Liaise and learn from BIC improvements and by cross referral with other managers to improve the category performance of the team

Business relationship management
? Support engagement with business stakeholders, applying ‘voice of the customer’ workshops, surveys and other mechanisms
? Support the provision of timely supply market knowledge to the Business, detailing information for the Market Segment Manager current and future impactful events and their potential consequences. Understand criticality of supply issues and their effect on business usage, and provide information which will be fed into the LBM via Hub Managers in all regions the intelligence to allow planning decisions
? Support provision of timely supply market knowledge to the Business, relaying current and future impactful events and their potential consequences

Supplier relationship management
? Support supplier management, including ongoing contract management and control, collation of performance data (through overseeing supplier performance data collection and analysis), and plan and execute supplier meetings
? Identify, select and manage key suppliers for continuous improvement through rigorous cost and value analysis
3. Experience & Expertise

? Relevant functional experience and category experience
? Experience in using advanced sourcing methodologies/tools
? Marketing, Manufacturing experience a plus
? A post graduate certification in business study is advantageous but not critical
? Proficient in Chinese and English.
