Position: Business Development Manager/Senior Project Manager
Working place: Beijing, P.R. China

Job Type: Full Time

Scope of Work

(Business Development Manager)

- initiate and execute all activities to develop Obermeyer’s business

- initiate contacts with potential clients

- present Obermeyer to clients and discuss services to be provided

- prepare projects proposals and discuss with client

- negotiate honorarium with clients

- negotiate additional fees during project work

- keep close contact with clients and monitor that client is satisfied with services provided

- keep in contact with client to discuss further cooperation with projects

(Senior Project Manager)

- assist preparing project proposal and contracts

- coordinate initiate project team structure, time schedule and budget plan

- coordinate deadlines and presentations with team and client

- follow up and review project progress is aligned with contract; notice team/ management and take measurements if not

- coordinate, communicate and review sub-contractors work

- present project or join presentations to client

- communicate with client actively and regularly

- review projects services’ quality and timely delivery to client, take measurements and notice if problems

- assist business development to receive new projects

Internal Collaboration and Reporting

- supervise, coordinate and direct business development and marketing assistants

- cooperate actively and closely with colleagues in business development, marketing and Project Planners/ Architects/ Managers

- report to GM

Basic Requirements:

- eight years or more working experience related to architectural design and project acquisition

- outstanding skills in communication (presentation and contract negotiation)

- being familiar with cleint relationship building and management, having strong sense to find the potential client and maintain the relationship

- upright, smart, has strong sense for team work

- graduated from a renowned university with Bachelor Degree or above

- English fluency, German is an advantage
