Responsibilities

Support

? Applies defined procedures,standards and own content knowledge to meet business, customer and technical requirements.
? As part of dedicated project and part of a project team lead by a project manager,implements processes where

required,and corrects or escalates process anomalies or problems that cannot be resolved to the relevant function

? Follows similar processes if deployed in an operational or staff function.
? Executes and documents tests defined to assess compliance of systems and processes with intended design and operation and supports user acceptance testing processes
? Provides analysis of data gathered in support activities.

Standards

? Applies and implements services and process standards
? Observes governance processes, escalates areas for improvement and assists in the implementation and monitoring of solutions
? Implements relevant framework and processes (e.g. ITSM,

Summit-D or other professional framework), uses tools and follows SOPs end-to-end
? Maintains appropriate documentation of tasks, incidents, and activities performed

Know-how

? Applies know-how to specific defined processes within an application or technical domain
? Develops own business / technical critical know-how within area of expertise and learns from others with expert knowledge in the field
? Supports day to day operations and / or implementation of projects within area of technical expertise

System Operations

? Manages and supports applications and systems and ensures integrity and validated state during their lifetime
? Takes on coordination activities related to smaller changes for systems within area of responsibility
? Provides content knowledge to the incident, problem and change management processes
? Performs system administration and 2nd/3rd level support for IT Components not managed by the Infrastructure Services & Operations organization or the Application Development and Maintenance Delivery Shared Services Centre
? Coordinates and supports security patching and upgrades with business and all Informatics functions
? Ensures compliance with security SOPs/policies, and adequate access rights are given to trained staff.
? Works with PGI to implement infrastructure solutions for operational optimization
? Installs new systems and new releases into maintenance and productive environment, following SDLC and change management procedures
? Ensures appropriate quality system documentation including technical system documentation, installation scripts, OQ/PQ’s, test plans and scripts
? Follows incident and change control procedures and enhancement governance procedures
? Delivers on call services where needed

Project Participation

? Provides Subject Matter Expertise input into detailed solution design
? Supports collection of user and functional requirements, and translates them into design specifications
? Supports the test design; conducts and supports functional (exploratory and system) testing; supports user acceptance testing
? Coordinates installations and upgrades with business and PGI ( in conjunction with IPM)
? Supports roll-out activities and Data Migration
? Delivers quality solutions within committed timeframes

Requirements

? 7 - 10 years of professional experience in the SAP MM support/project
? At least 3 full cycle implementation project experiences
? Prior experience in Operations within the domain
? Experience with ITIL and PM desirable
? Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous
? Experienced working in a project environment
? GxP experience is advantageous
? Strong technical skills, systems and requirements analysis
? Multicultural and International experience and scope
? Highly adaptable to change
? Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
? Certification in SAP MM is advantageous.
? Advanced reading, writing, listening and speaking English skills
? Flexibility to travel for up to 25% of time including outside of home country
? Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours or on call arrangements to provide support 24/7 if necessary
