POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The application programmers who have specialized in developing applications for smartphones and other mobile gadgets. Using programming languages like C++, Objective C and Java among others, these developers are instrumental in making the smartphone the gadget of the future.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Create new applications and application prototypes on current and future mobile platforms using the Java development platform
? Ensure that all developed programs are properly documented
? Perform tests across multiple devices using prescribed testing applications
? Be flexible to move between multiple mobile platforms
? Focus on developing programs in Java for the Android platform
? Work in a collaborative, team environment that focuses on developing cutting edge mobile applications and technology

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
? Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and senior management
? Professional experience and/or exposure using Java to develop applications on the Android platform
? Working knowledge of Data structures, object oriented concepts and Design patterns
? Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
? Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team
