(Shanghai, 3-6 months full time Internship)

APCO Worldwide, an award winning global strategic communications and public affairs consultancy, has an opening for an Intern with our government relations team in Shanghai. This is an opportunity to contribute to our project teams, helping clients navigate the complexities and challenges of doing business in China today.


Summary: An intern is responsible for supporting assigned staff on all projects. Specific responsibilities may include internet-based research, polishing written documents and other support as dictated by project managers. Interns report directly to assigned project staff.


Responsibilities:

The following are specific duties assigned to interns and are performed on a daily basis. Assist project staff with tasks including but not limited to:
? Editing and refining written documents for clients
? Drafting reports for project managers
? Conducting industry and/or client research
? Provide logistical support to project managers for client meetings
? Other work as requested by project managers


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Basic knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties and responsibilities successfully.
? Master degree is preferred
? No requirements on major
? Strong interest in business and China
? Native mandarin speaker with excellent Language skills of both Chinese and English
? Ability to write clearly and succinctly
? Ability to research effectively
? Ability to organize and multi-task project work
? Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as to work independently
? Self-motivated and professionally presented
? Familiarity with Microsoft office software
? Currently resident in Shanghai (no relocations considered);
