职位描述

Position Overview

The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for creating an internal communication strategy to help ensure that we are building effective communication channel within Disney English. S/he will conceive, direct and execute all internal communications initiatives across Disney English in the areas of crisis communications, employee communications, etc. Provide consultative services to HR team member assist them in formulating their specific communication messages. Direct internal resources and external vendors to produce and deliver all forms of communications.

The Internal Communications Manager will directly report to the Executive Director of Human Resources.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee and direct major internal communications activities within Disney English such as generating internal news to all employees about current events, developing and maintaining an intranet, and related activities.

2. Assist HR team in developing talking points for major communications packages and presentations as needed to reinforce intended message content

3. Provide communications services and act as key contact for all internal communication needs.

4. Act as the key contact in Disney English for non-financial business information requests coming from WDI and DPW. Ensure full understanding of request; work with appropriate executives within Disney English to provide answers and other information that is needed.

5. Develop and execute a strategy for responding to crisis situations internally. Maintain up to date awareness of issues and recommend when to proactively address the issues rather than reacting to when the situation has developed into a crisis status.

6. Plan and coordinate logistical activities of meetings that are held offsite such as Disney English Town Hall, offsite executive planning sessions and Disney English Yearly Employee Event, etc. Assist the HR Director with the logistical coordination of other related meetings as needed.

1. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business performance gaps into internal communication strategies

2. Must have the necessary drive and ability to lead change to implement initiatives

3. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of employees as well as superior facilitation skills

4. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with top business leaders and HR colleagues

5. Collaborates effectively with others to identify and resolve issues

6. Exhibits a personal responsibility and commitment to his/her work

7. Personally reflects the values of diversity


Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Organizational Development or Human Resources
