Function:
Administrator for PIR & VMP Master Data
PIR (Purchasing Information Record): price, incoterm, unit measure, currency, delivery time, quota, etc.
VMP (Value Metal Price): update of raw material values (gold, silver, etc.) from different markets (LME, etc.) on a periodical basis (daily, monthly, etc.)
For his specialty, the Data Administrator role is to:
- Guarantee data availability and accuracy in the global purchasing tools
- Be responsible for the operational implementation of Master Data Model defined by Data Owner
- Ensure continuous data quality in a proactive way, propose improvements to Data Owner (cleaning action, process evolution…)
- Run periodical core queries to generate data quality reports, run consistency checks. Report status to Data Owner, define and launch corrective actions
- Manage data creation/modification/correction and run massive update according to users’ requirements
- Optimize the use of tools and workflows along the process changes (procedure, training…)
- Drive transversal data cleansing in close coordination with Tools Solution Managers
- Support Data Owner in animating regional synapse (key user) network
- Bring contribution to projects led by Data Owner/Central team
- Keep Master Data in line with legal requirements or organizational changes

All Data Administrators will be hierarchically reporting to the Head of Eastern Shared Service, and functionally reporting to the related Data Owner of the Central Team.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (shuttle buses). Possible overtime.

QUALIFICATION

Qualities:
- Analytical, conscientious, fast learner
- Self-motivated, able to drive/deliver for the team
- Able to work independently, under pressure and at ease in a multi-cultural environment
- Sensitivity to data (can handle big quantity of information), able to deal with a variety of IT systems

Qualification:
- Diploma: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
- Languages: Fluent English required. French is a plus
- Experience: 1-3 years in data management, information system or purchasing required. For the Actor Data Master position, a senior candidate (3-5 years exp.) is preferred
- IT Skills: very good knowledge of MS Excel. MS Access, SAP and Oracle are a strong plus

Knowledge of Schneider Electric organization is a plus.
